Pondering Design is a family of artists from Chicago that spend their retirement doing what they love most - creating.

Eileen and Barbara are sister-in-laws who spend their days in their 'moss room' churning out innovative and thought provoking masterpieces. When they need a break from all of their moss making, they direct their creative energy towards other projects including jewelry making and pottery.

Rich, married to Barbara, also has a flair for creative endeavors. Though instead of creating moss art, Rich uses the skills he gained in his decades long career as a trim carpenter in downtown Chicago to create a variety of unique pieces. His projects include boxes, vases, bookends, coat trees, pocket shelves, and woodwork whimsies.
